Pay award 2021/22 and 2022/23 - Local Government Association Employers need to support employees to take steps to look after their wellbeing during their period of working from home. The vote has therefore carried and employers have now been notified. Local authorities were required to accommodate potential public sector pay awards in this year's budget planning following the 176m cash increase in the local government settlement provided by Welsh Government for 2021-22. Under the NJC constitution, if two unions accepted, the deal could have been signed off and paid before April to ensure you get all the money.
